Who is ready for Labor Day Weekend, do you have any exciting plans? I am starting this week with a recap of everything I shared on my socials this past week. I have been back in ATL getting back into my daily routine with the family. I wanted to catch you up on everything I posted on my socials so that you can get any style or life inspiration to start your week on a high note.
How do you like to dress when you go to the airport? I like to be comfortable, but also maintain my sense of style. I chose to wear a pair of ripped, relaxed fit jeans with converse and a black tank. This outfit is a great option for being comfortable on your flight while arriving in style at your travel destination. I mean, who says you have to be in sweats to be comfortable?
Summer isn’t over yet, so I am trying to spend as much time by the pool as my busy schedule allows. I have to brag, I finally found a swimsuit that truly fits me.
I am wearing a bathing suit top and bottom set in the Sao Paulo print by Figleaves. They have a size for every size, and a shape for every shape. This set is super flattering and I love all the playful colors and prints they have, check them out here.
This photo of my kids playing with their toys from Walmart warms my heart. I love that they have a lot my favorite board games I plan to pick up Monopoly during my next store run. My daughter is obsessed with L.O.L Surprise and this dream house is on her wish list. My son is into Fortnite. See more from my post HERE.
Linen has been such an amazing fabric for this hot summer. In this look I am wearing a midi linen halter dress in lilac by Asos. I paired this dress with my favorite sandals, the Grear sandal, by Sarah Flint. I love this look for a brunch with the girls or an afternoon date with my husband.
In this post I got to show off some of my fashion finds from Walmart. I have loved finding convenient, affordable ways to update my wardrobe for fall. Here I am wearing Walmart’s Love Sadie Midi Slip skirt paired with a lace cami. When transitioning into fall looks, I always like to add a cardigan because you have the option to remove it when you get too hot. I also loved finding these Melrose Ave peep-toe booties. They are perfect for fall weather, especially in Georgia where it is still warm in fall. I completed the look with a chic pair of oversized Le Specs sunglasses.
Another way to keep up with the animal print trend is to go for a printed pants option like these or an asymmetrical printed blouse. The pants are great for the airport because they are stretchy, giving you that needed comfort. And while we’re on the topic of versatile options for fall, here are a few options that will carry you into the season with ease. Vests are perfect for restyling a summer piece, along with stylish moto jackets that are all the rage. You could pair either of these options with a floral blouse or a pair of paper bag pants for a casual look for work.
I recently decided to take a staycation at a hotel in Atlanta. I am in a big believer in self care and my favorite form of that is relaxing and unwinding away from the bustle of our work lives. I am wearing an Asos floral maxi with Rejina Pyo kitten heels. I love this look because the colors work so well together and with my skin tone. How do you like to make sure you’re getting a dose of much-needed self-care?
