Rules when wearing shorts

Hi,

It’s the weekend and I am starting it in a chic casual look. I love shorts but it is sometimes hard to find unique ones that are body appropriate. My rules when wearing shorts is simple, wear one that you are comfortable in and more importantly one that doesn’t leave much of your skin hanging out in plain sight. I don’t believe in the notion that there is one right length for any particular age. How you style it, is more important. My twill bermuda shorts and contrast sweater are both  by Zara, one of my favorite high street shops.

My yellow crossbody bag is my J Crew, although my color is now sold out, they still have other colors in stock. It is my go-to Spring bag.

My silver shoes are by Asos and are now my favorite low heeled shoes. The fact that it has a metallic finish makes it the perfect dressy shoes. Plus the best part, it comes in a variety of colors and sizes.

Styling Tips

I would wear my Zara sweater with a pair of pants for work wear or jeans for a laid back look. My twill shorts work in the winter time too when layered with thick tights.
