Fall Fashion Trends: Ruffles & Patches

How are you doing? Thank you for stopping by the blog today. I am ending the week in a weekend fashion inspiration, its a long weekend after all right? Denim shorts have always been a summer staple, so its only perfect to kick off the “unofficial” end of summer weekend (Labor day) in short, shorts! When I got a chance to pick an item from Shein, I wanted an item that could transition from summer to fall. I will be styling this contrast ruffle hem sweater again for fall.  I didn’t want to style my ruffle hem sweater with  plain shorts, so I settled on this patch denim shorts by TopShop. My shorts are now sold out online(check your local stores, it was on sale for $20) but here is a list of  similar styles. Patch and ruffles are big trends, this fall.

Fashion Tip
My two simple rules when it comes to picking denim short are; stick to one that fits you perfectly so you can avoid the whole butt cheeks hanging issue and only purchase denim shorts in a length you are comfortable in and wear in the appropriate setting.
