I am sure like me you have heard of the Island of St. Kitts and Nevis and maybe you never thought to add it to your travel bucket list, I hope I am able to convince you after reading this post! If you’re looking for a tropical getaway to a place that hasn’t been over done but checks all the boxes, warm weather, beautiful beaches, great food, lots to do, then this post is for you. I got the opportunity of a lifetime to collaborate with the Four Seasons Nevis and even though it’s been over a week since my return, I don’t mind packing my bags again to explore this beautiful Island. This trip was for the celebration of my birthday with my girlfriends. Since Covid put an halt to my initial celebration last December, I was so grateful when the Four Seasons Nevis hosted me and my friends. The beautiful sister Islands of St. Kitts and Nevis known for cloud-shrouded mountains and beaches are both a combined 104 square miles in total. (For perspective, we drove around the entire Island of St. Kitts the bigger of the two Islands in less than 2 hours.) Small in size but to date one of the most beautiful places!
Getting to Nevis & The Four Seasons
The Four Seasons Nevis is located in Nevis, a 15 minutes boat ride and another 15 plus minute drive from SKB (Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport.) The Four Seasons Nevis, provides arrangements for guests once they arrive at the airport. We were greeted with smiling faces and a Four Seasons sign on arrival at the airport. Immigration was pretty swift as you complete all necessary forms online before arrival. The easiest way to St. Kitts & Nevis is from MIA Miami International Airport in Florida with flight time just under 3hours.
Accommodation
I was in Nevis for a total of 5 nights with my friends and we stayed at the Poinciana Suite for our first 2 nights and moved to one of the Sunset Hill Villas for the remaining 3 nights. The POINCIANA Suite is one of the many cottage accommodations available at Four Seasons Nevis. It was a beautiful suite with the view of one of the many pools on property and Pinney Beach. You will have to watch my Instagram Highlights and YouTube cos pictures doesn’t do it justice. Most of the photos I am sharing were taken at our Four Bedroom Sunset Hill Villa which had 4 separate bedrooms, a chef’s kitchen that came with a wine cellar, multiple verandas, a fire grill, a huge outdoor pool including a jacuzzi, a steam room, game room and more! I could go on about this beautiful villa that also came with a complimentary golf cart to get around the resort and fits up to 9 people.
Food
The Four Seasons Nevis, didn’t disappoint when it came to food, there were multiple restaurants on property with a wide variety of local Nevisian cuisine (Saltfish and Johnny cakes were my faves) to a range of International food at all 7 restaurants on property including room service which was available 24 hours. The breakfast buffet at Esquilina was so good, and had a lot of variety. I am still dreaming of the Xavi’s Volcano Curry rice dish I had at Mango and the Bang Bang Shrimp and Lobster at Dune! On some days we ventured into town to try local spots, Sunshines (a short walk from the resort) and Happy Endings (a short drive from the resort) were my fave spots and the amazing concierge at Four Seasons Nevis, provided us with this information.
Service
The Four Seasons Nevis service was amazing, the Four Seasons standard from the time we landed in St. Kitts till the day we were dropped off at the airport. I loved that I could look to the resort to plan a fun girls trip for me and my friends. Concierge was amazing from putting together the breakfast brunch in our sunset villa to reservations at restaurants and planning excursions around town and the sunset Yacht cruise.
Activities/Amenities
I loved that there was so much to do on property at the Four Seasons Nevis from spending time on pristine Pinney beach, numerous water activities such as snorkeling, fishing, catamaran sailing and other activities, such as hiking, private yoga classes, and more. There is also a kids club with activities for your young traveler. We got to spend a day at one of the Beach Cabana’s available at the resort. It was the perfect way to spend the day on the beach. The resort has it’s own private beach, so the beach was never crowded.
Spa
It isn’t a girls getaway without a spa day! We had massages right on the beach with the sound of the ocean as our soundtrack. The Four Seasons Nevis, has a beautiful spa with top notch amenities. You can see more of the services offered here.
I would visit Nevis again and stay at the Four Seasons because it was truly a dreamy vacation. We were blown away with the level of details including nightly birthday celebration dessert at the many restaurants on property and service personnel who remembered my name and provided amazing suggestions.
The people of St. Kitts and Nevis are also truly some of the nicest individuals I have come across in all my travels. I highly recommend visiting this beautiful Island and staying at the Four Seasons Nevis. Thank you for reading and stay tuned for my next adventure!
