LEGO bricks were a big part of my childhood and it brings me so much joy that decades later I am able to share my love for Bricks and building with my daughter. I get that nostalgic feeling every time I pick up a new LEGO set and my daughter gets to use her imagination, and she has fun creating and learning! I bet like me, you also grew up on LEGO bricks too! I am highlighting two new sets, Friends Heartlake City Movie Theater and City Family House, selected by my 7-year-old now available at Target.
85 years later, LEGO group is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of toys and has been named “Toy of the Century” twice. I love that the foundation remains the same, traditional LEGO bricks with the unlimited building possibilities that emerge through play.
I helped my daughter put together the City Family House LEGO set which is available for $59.99 at Target. I love that instructions are now available on your mobile device with a quick scan! Another great selection would be the LEGO NINJAGO Overlord Dragon kit available for $29.99 and the LEGO NINJAGO Wu’s Battle Dragon Ninja Battle set for $19.99. Find other LEGO NINJAGO sets HERE.
She had a great time putting together the Friends Heartlake City Movie Theater and had more fun playing with the set! It is available for $49.99 at Target. Another similar set is the LEGO Friends Heartlake City Organic Café Building Kit.
Now that she is spending more time at home, LEGO bricks have been a great way to keep her busy while stimulating her mind while having fun at the same time.
Be sure to check Target, (HERE is a quick link) for LEGO bricks for different ages and let the fun begin!
