The Frye Company: Modern Icons Collection

How are you doing? Thanks for stopping by the blog. I have been a fan of The Frye Company for quite sometime now. I found about this brand on a fashion forum, years ago. Frye boots are the epitome of class and quality leather goods. I got my first pair last year for Valentine’s day (Clearly I am not a chocolate and wine kinda gal, lol.) I chose the Engineer 12R a favorite among fashionistas worldwide. They are by far my favorite boots in my closet.

So you can imagine my excitement when I got an invitation to the private event at the Frye Company’s Flagship store last Thursday. The event was hosted by Actress Lauren Cohan aka Maggie Greene of The Walking Dead (another reason for my excitement) She plays such a kick ass character and is one of my favorite character on the show.

Lauren is wearing the Dara Harness Chelsea in black which is also available in dark brown

The private event was held to showcase the new range of men’s and women’s boots called The Modern Icons Collection inspired by Frye’s heritage boot design. This new collection simultaneously honors the original icon while being undeniably unique to current trends. As an Engineer 12R owner the Natalie Short Engineer is right up my alley. I would wear it with denim, long floral dresses that are on-trend for fall and/or short velvet dresses. The Cara tall suede boots are the perfect riding boots. See more of the entire Modern Icons Collection below. The collection also includes a fringe saddle bag and a poncho.

Aside from the inviting aroma of high quality leather goods which filled this flagship store; there were yummy food, drinks and a DJ at the store filled with influential locals.

If you live in Atlanta, be sure to check out The Frye store located in Ponce City Market at 675 Ponce de Leon Ave. NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30308 . They collection is also available online for purchase.

If you don’t own a pair of Frye Boots, what are you waiting for, they are worth every penny and are super comfortable too.  Here is a recent picture of me in my Engineer 12R and a floral dress. Thank you for reading, enjoy the rest of your day.
