One guard actually asked me how they allowed me into the palace with a dress like this 😐😆

Versailles should be on your itinerary if you’re ever in Paris. This city is known for Chateau de Versailles!
Think Louis XIII, Queen Mary Antoinette, Hall of Mirrors & more. My family & I had a great time exploring.

Things to note before your visit:
-Versailles is a 30min taxi ride from Paris (you can easily spend a day here & explore beyond the Palace.
-Purchase your ticket in advance to avoid sellouts.
-You will need an audio guide (available there) except you can read/speak French. (Everything is written in French)
-Visit early in the day (less crowds)
-It’s a huge Palace including the must see gardens, so wear comfortable shoes.

Monaco is its own country (not part of France) with a Prince and everything. Boarded by France and Italy. It has a lot of offer beyond Formula 1.
I absolutely loved spending time & will be sharing a reel on everything I did in one day.

How to do Monaco on a budget
-You can visit Monaco for a day. (It’s the 2nd smallest country in the world) My advice plan ahead to make the most of your day.
-Stay in the South of France (It’s a 30mins drive from Nice & even closer from Menton)
-You don’t need a helicopter 🚁 ride, you can drive, take a taxi or take the train.
-Use a taxi to get around or rent a car (cheaper option & gives you flexibility)

Things to note
-Rideshare isn’t available around Monaco.
(You can arrive in one & make arrangements with a driver to pick you up)
-Train service ends early (last train to Nice is around 9pm)
-In peak season, it is sometime hard to find a taxi.
-Get a hotel beach pass
-Lots of parking decks & affordable parking available.
-It’s all about the views here so make a reservation with a restaurant with a view.

Hair products review

Hi guys, thanks for stopping by my blog. I have been slacking off with hair posts recently, so this is my attempt to redeem myself:-) I am have a few  honest product reviews for you today! I am not one to jump on bandwagons or a product hoarder so my reviews today are based on products I chose to try based on my hair needs. Remember from my last hair post, listening to your hair is key.

My hair was experiencing dryness lately and I knew it was time to switch up my hair routine. After all its fall and the air is dry. I came across Art Naturals Daily Organic Argan Oil Shampoo while on Amazon.com. Two things led me to buying this product. One it’s made with Argan Oil a moisturizing agent which was exactly  what I hair needed and two the thousands of positive feedback. This shampoo didn’t disappoint me one bit. It product is not only for black hair or natural hair.

Art Naturals Daily Organic Argan Oil Shampoo

Pros:

The scent: It has this amazing fruity smell that leaves a nice fragrance for days!

The price point: A little goes a long way with this product. It lathers well and for a 16oz bottle, the price point is pretty reasonable. Ensure you follow directions on the bottle. This bottle will last you months!

Effectiveness: This shampoo left my hair super clean in just two rounds of wash.

Cons:

I can’t think of any cons.

After washing my hair

I knew my hair needed serious conditioning so I decided to try hair mask versus a new conditioner. The promises on the label seemed convincing  enough for me to give it a try. Apply generously to hair to get the most out of the product. I decided to leave it longer (30mins) versus the 5-10 minutes recommended in the directions. After it sat in my hair for 30mniutes, I detangled my hair with a  Denman Brush and washed it off with cold water. Then followed with my Kinky-Curly Leave In Conditioner.

Art Naturals Argan Oil Hair Mask

Pros

Thickness: I love the thickness of this product. It ensured that the little applied stuck to my hair.

The scent: Just like the shampoo it smells amazing.

Effecetiveness: After I rinsed off this product i could feel in the difference in my hair texture. It felt moisturized and softer too.

Less shrinkage: One of the biggest difference I noticed instantly was less shrinkage. My hair was longer in its natural state. I noticed this same difference with my daughter’s hair too.

Cons

Price point: For the amount of product you get, I wished this hair mask was priced lower. I could only get 2 use out of the jar. Bummer but that won’t deter me from using it when my hair feels extra dry and brittle.

Mask applied in my hair

After a blow dry on low heat

                                                         It’s A 10 Miracle Leave In Product

My hair stylist introduced me to this  product. She was looking for an agent to use before straightening my hair when she discovered the wonders of this product. I haven’t tried to use it as an alternative to Kinky Curly leave-In but I promise I’ll try it soon. She applied this product and proceeded to blow dry my hair before straightening it.

Pros

Softer hair:  This product left my hair softer. My hair felt lighter too! It made the blow drying process less of an ordeal.

Shine: It left an amazing shine in my hair. A little goes a long way with this product too.

Cons
Less curls: The one thing I noticed about this product was that my curls didn’t last as long. (I always curl my hair after straightening it) If you don’t mind that issue, then definitely give this product a try.
