Adding Vamp to your look

Hi and thanks for stopping by my blog. I am starting off the week in this gorgeous this red number. I am a believer in making an outfit mine by either wearing it differently or adding a special something to make it stand out. Today’s outfit is classic example. Step away from the norm and don’t conform to standards by styling your outfit differently. I will be diving into more of this in future posts. I purchased this outfit from a closet sale recently (an amazing way to add to your closet without breaking the bank.) Thrift shopping both in store or online is another way to do this.

I picked up this red strapless number for under $50 and I knew then that I didn’t want to just wear it as is. I invested in this oval shaped rhinestone brooch from Etsy over a year ago and it has become one of my favorite accessories. See how I wore it here. I first wore this outfit to my high school reunion about a month ago but didn’t get a chance to take clear pictures, hence today’s post. I added this beautiful statement earrings from Misayo House (check them out for standout pieces) and settled on this beautiful croc embossed clutch which I have also worn here from F & W Style. I chose this black strappy sandals by Schutz (I found this shoe at a great deal from Neiman Marcus Last Call) to complete my look. How do you add character to your outfits and what do you think of today’s look?
