Fall Fashion Tops : Polka Dot by Asos

Hi,
How are you doing? I hope you had a great work week? It's Friday I am ready for the weekend in this ensemble from Asos. I love all things polka dots, so I was excited when I had the opportunity to collaborate with Asos to feature their amazing tops. I will be sharing another post next week highlighting another of my favorite top on their website.

My weekend with the 2017 Toyota Corolla

Hi,
How are you doing? Thank you for stopping by the blog. Today I am sharing a recap of my weekend with the 2017 Toyota Corolla. When I was approached for the collaboration opportunity with Southeast Toyota, the world's largest independent distributor of Toyota vehicles, parts & supplies in the south (GA,FL, AL, NC & SC), I was super excited not just because this was an opportunity to work with a brand that I trust but also because of the connection I have with Toyota. My very first car which I purchased after college was a white Toyota Tercel (they don’t make those anymore.)

Red Dress Boutique Maxi Dress

Hi,
I hope you had  a great weekend? Monday is looking brighter in this Burgundy Maxi dress by Red Dress Boutique which so happen to be under $50. I wear maxi dresses year round and especially since I live in Atlanta where it doesn't get too cold. It is officially Fall but the highs yesterday was in the upper 80s' (so you get the picture.) The She's Glamorous Maxi Dress also comes in golden yellow my favorite color.

Fall 2017 Must-Haves : Velvet

Hi,
Happy first day of Fall! Even though it is 73 degrees here in Atlanta lol. I am starting off my Fall Fashion Must-Haves series with one of Fall's staple Velvet. Velvets have always been in for the cooler part of the year so not surprised it was big on runways for Fall 2017. I wore this High neck velvet dress for a fashion show last Saturday and got a lot of compliments on it. I purchased it from Asos, my favorite online shopping website.

How to style a crop top

Hi,
How are you doing? Hope you had a wonderful week? On today's post I share how I mixed prints and styled a crop top I received from Tobi an online boutique that sells on trend fashion pieces with a Tea length Ankara skirt I received from GLAMM Fashion. You don't have to have a super flat tummy to rock a cropped top and this is how you can pull it off. High waist skirts are more figure flattering for most body types compared to high waist pants IMO and your best option.

Formal Wear: Polka dot Maxi dress

Hi,
How are you doing? Thank you for stopping by my blog. Hurricane Irma is in full force and I am home today because things are pretty much shut down around the city. Praying for all those who are affected by the storm. We lost power for a bit and I can hear the intense force of the wind.  Last week, I celebrated my 9th wedding anniversary and to celebrate we went to dinner and I wore this gorgeous polka dot maxi dress which I picked up from Bloomingdales

Fall 2017 runway fashion trend: Vintage Floral Prints

Hi,
TGIF, it was a short work week here in the US but I am so ready for the weekend. This week also marked the beginning of New York Fashion Week and although I am not attending this year I will be sharing posts on some of my favorite collections. Speaking of favs, one of the biggest trends from the runaway for Fall 2017 was vintage florals. Since it is Fashion week, here is how I translated the trend. Wearing florals from head to toe can be tricky, so my biggest advice is to mind your proportions and mix the right types of floral pieces like I did here and here.

DIY with Pinterest and a pink suit

Hi,
How are you doing? I apologize from the lack of posts last week, I decided to take a week off blogging and social media last week. Sometimes a break is needed to regroup and refocus, which is exactly what I did. Summer is officially as labor day was yesterday but the weather says otherwise in Atlanta so while I will be sharing Fall fashion, I will still be sharing looks according to the weather. Today is a look that works for warm weather but perfect for Fall. Bought as separates, my culottes and jacket by Asos are perfect for work (depending on your work environment) and beyond.
