Happy New Year

Happy New Year and thanks for stopping by my blog. I am so excited about the New Year and the plans God has for everyone! This year I have decided to change my approach to blogging and just make it more personal and organic and just be me! I am not quite sure how that will affect the structure of the blog but one thing for sure is consistency. I am making that promise, so help me God.
To kick off the new direction of my blog, I am sharing a few pictures from my birthday celebration. I turned 33 on December 26. (Yes December babies rock LOL) To celebrate the start of a new year, and Christmas, I went on a vacation to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico with my family. It is an amazing city with beautiful beaches, great culture and the food was just sooo good!! I will be blogging about my travels this year.
I still can't believe I am 33!! I feel so old, LOL. I am so thankful to be alive and in good health. I had  huge plans for a birthday party (there is something so cool about that number, don't you agree?) but all the planning was in my head, and you know how that goes sometimes.
I can say this though, I am loving 33 and embracing all that comes with it, including my first grey hair!! argghh! I spent the day with my loves and it will go on record as my best birthday yet. My amazing husband outdid himself this year.
I really wanted to wear white for my birthday but I didn't want yet another white dress. I fell in love with this silk romper at first sight. It was perfect for the warm Puerto Vallarta weather. I paired it with my new fav shoes and minimal accessories. Here are a few pictures from the day, enjoy!

I decided to try something new. Snorkeling was fun for a newbie.

Nothing like Margaritas here, the Tequila made them special!

                                                                            Mi familia

This grilled red snapper made on a charcoal grill was the business!

                                                      We caught the beautiful sunset

My cake, cheese cake topped with fruits, snaps and chocolate (they do love cheese cake in Pvr)

                                                                Surprise at the restaurant

This platter was so yummy, macaroons, candy and chocolate and oh the sprinkled icing

Oh yeah and this guy played a special number for me

Your visit to Puerto Vallarta is not complete without a picture at the Plaza de las Armas

                                                        How we ended the night
