Street Festival Chic

Two weeks ago I attended the Festival of Chariots (Taste of India) that took place in Atlanta. It's a three day event that is held yearly. My husband found out about it and we figured it would be something fun and cultural to take the kids too. We missed the day of the parade but I will try catching that next year. We had a great time at the festival especially my son:) There was lots of food, drinks to sample and activities for the kids and adults too. I plan of attending more of the local events in my city this year.
I decided that I wanted to wear something bright and colorful so I settled on this dress I bought a few years ago. I am definitely following my rule this year of shopping more from my closet. I love that one can dress this outfit up or down. I decided on the latter since I was attending a daytime event with the kids. I paired it with my favorite new crossbody bag and old flat sandals to complete my look.

I decided to get a henna tattoo

  1. Very pretty! I miss Atlanta and all the different festivals. I wanted to attend a Pow-wow once, but nobody wanted to go with me.

  2. Yellow is pretty on the henna

  3. Thanks for your lovely words on my last post!
I love this outfit - the dress is so pretty!

    Have a great day,
